Medium size fruits, with a smooth and thin skin of light-yellow color that turns into intense yellow when ripe with visible red spots on the side exposed to the sun. Cream-white pulp, sugary, juicy and slightly aromatic. Pollinator: William.

Medium sized fruit. Pulp: delicate, juicy, acidic, sugary. Pollinator: Coscia and Kaiser.

Variety of pear that ripens early, popular mostly locally. Fruit is medium-sized, it looks a lot like the “William” pear.

American native pear, it’s a mutation of the William, it was introduced in Italy in 1953. This pear is perfect for gardens for its taste (as the William) and its beautiful red color which stands out from the green color of the leaves. Pollinator: Conference and Kaiser.

Large size fruits with a characteristic shape, yellow-greenish skin partially of a rusty color. White pulp sugary and juicy, slightly aromatic. Pollinator: Coscia and Passa Crassana.

It’s a largely cultivated pear, produces abundant large fruits of inimitable flavor. Pollinator: Decana del Comizio and William.

Old pear of French origin, still cultivated. Fruits are large and flavorful, pulp is tender, delicate, and pleasantly aromatic. It’s very similar to the rootstock Quince. Pollinator: William.

Pear of English origin that was introduced in Italy in 1950. Fruit of large size, excellent for early harvesting. If harvested not too ripe preserves well for a long time not refrigerated. Pollinator: William and Kaiser.

Pear of French origin really appreciated for its great qualities (fantastic flavor and good size). Pollinator: William and Conference.
Ripens in September and maintains well until December.

Large fruits with thick and strong skin of a yellow-greenish color. Withish pulp, firm and spongy, partially grainy, sugary. Pollinator: Conference and Abate Fetel.

This variety has an uncertain origin, but is certainly old. The fertile and large tree produces many fruits with singular characteristics (sweet and not very juicy fruits) very spongy and suited for cooking. Pollinator: William.
